Hello Everyone, and thanks for your participation over the last few weeks as we've gotten the new MTP up and running. We've fixed a number of bugs and issues, and have a long list of feature requests to work through, including Find a Traveler, Find Me, Explicit Ranking on the Profile, UN red/green map, and many, many more. Our lead developer is on a well-deserved break, but those items will come flooding in once he returns rested and refreshed.
For those of you experiencing verification and password issues, please bring them to my attention. I know how frustrating those can be, and until we uncover any root causes for these issues, I can do my best to fix them manually for you. Also, please don't hesitate to use the contact form to put forward any ideas and issues you have, no matter how small.
We do recognize that the restaurant data remains incomplete on the Michelin side, and that inaccurate restaurant visit numbers migrated over for many of you, and we will clean all of this up over time. Please have patience with the restaurants. We do strive for up-to-the-minute accuracy, but these are lifetime records and endeavors, so there is still time to get them right
As I mentioned, the MTP location list will be undergoing changes; mostly with additions, but today we have a subtraction. As many of you may know, on 24 May 2018, the National Assembly of Pakistan voted in favour of an amendment to the Constitution of Pakistan to merge the Federally Administered Tribal Areas with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly then approved the historic FATA-KP merger bill on 28 May 2018 making FATA officially part of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. So we have inactivated FATA, bringing the MTP total to 873.
As soon as we get a few more of the new features under our belt, I expect to start making additions to the list; not all at once, but certainly starting before the end of this year.
Again, thanks for your support, and don't hesitate to reach out as we continue to improve the new MTP.
